Notes: "Columbus Circle, 1936", was painted by Guy Carleton Wiggins. The painting is signed lower left, Guy Wiggins. This work has been authenticated by Guy Arthur Wiggins. A letter of authenticity, dated 10 April, 2017, accompanies the lot. Guy C. Wiggins was elected in to the National Academy of Design in the year that this painting was painted. It is possible that this painting could have been submitted to the Academy for consideration into the prestigious institute.
